OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS

There is no one righteous, not even one. Romans 3:10  Another poignant verse states "that our righteousness is as filthy rags." Isaiah 64:4. Bible scholars believe the reference was to menstrual rags, filthy rags for sure.. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:21. These verses don't condemn us, they exhort us to realize that self dependence leads us down a very dangerous path.The word says that " I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Philippians 4:13 It doesn't say that I can do all things through my own strength ! "I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me."Galatians 2: 20. " To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory." Colossians 1:27
