For godly sorrow produces repentance leading to salvation, not to be regretted; but the sorrow of the world produces death. II Corinthians 7:10 NKJV. I posted this scripture almost two months ago. The verse riveted my heart. My posts are basically concise and to the point. Yet I wasn’t able to develop a single thought about about Godly Sorrow. Tonight (10/8/17) I was able to visualize the simplicity of this verse. The sorrow of the world is based on the fact that I’m sorry because I was caught. There is no remorse or repentance in this attitude. The foundation of Godly sorrow is the overwhelming grief we feel because we have offended our Creator. Regardless of what we have done, the Good Shepherd wants to to take us into His arms and comfort us. JUST AN AFTERTHOUGHT: If we walk with God we will always get where we are going !
