CRUCIFIED

And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. I Corinthians 2:1‭-‬3‭, ‬5 NKJV. The cross was the most common form of execution in the Roman Empire. We think of Jesus dying for our sins which He did, but also contemplate the fact that He was Executed for our sins. The power of the cross is the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ. When you come to Jesus with a repentant spirit  a great exchange takes place. You receive the righteousness of God in Christ, and He receives the burden and stain of your sins. Jesus paid an enormous price to make this possible. For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power. What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness? I Corinthians 4:20‭-‬21 NKJV Paul was totally sold out to Jesus. HOW ABOUT YOU ?
