FROM THE STAR TO THE CROSS

The Wise Men followed the star that God gave as a sign leading them to the Messiah, the King of the Jews. They knew the promises about the Messiah that Isaiah fore told years before the miraculous birth of Jesus.” Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel” (Isaiah 7:13-14) And in Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given. And the government will be upon His shoulders And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.  Jesus had to pay an enormous price to redeem  a corrupt and fallen world; a world created through Him and by Him. He was the only worthy sacrifice. He was offered once and for all. He was slain before the foundation of the world.(Rev 13:8) For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.(Jn.3 :16) From His suffering on the cross He purchased Salvation for all mankind.
