THERE ARE THREE THAT BEAR WITNESS

All the mysteries of our Faith are explained in the Word of God: the Bible. We believe that we serve a true God. However the word “Trinity” doesn’t appear anywhere in the Bible. The scriptures however do bear witness.  “For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.” I John 5:7‭-‬8 NKJV. I can’t explain these Truths with my finite mind and understanding. Many years ago I read a reasonable analogy for explaining the Godhead. For the sake of the example here we go. God is water: H2O. Water is solid at 32 degrees; it is steam at 212 degrees and liquid in between. No matter what form it is water.   “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifested in the flesh, Justified in the Spirit, Seen by angels, Preached among the Gentiles, Believed on in the world, Received up in glory” I Timothy 3:16 NKJV.
